We strive to provide our customers with the utmost in quality of products and customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with the item you purchased, you can return it for an exchange of an equal or higher value item. We offer this type of policy to you because we know that the quality of our products isn't what you are not satisfied with. We understand that whatever the reason is that you are in need of a security camera or other type of surveillance item, the model should be something you are happy with. So, more than likely the reason you do need to make a return is because it wasn't quite the right type or model of surveillance item you ordered. It may not fit just right in your home or office. We understand!
We do strongly suggest to contact us before you purchase anything. If you have ANY questions about our products, our staff is trained to answer your questions to the best of their ability. And, if for some reason they cannot answer your questions, we have an EXPERT TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM that can! We will take your name and number and a technician will contact you as soon as possible. This will help to make sure the item you do order is something you will be happy with, and that way you need not even worry about having to return your purchase.
We do ask that you open your package up as quickly as you can upon receipt. Due to the nature of our products, and some unscrupulous people, we are only able to offer 3 days for you to contact us if you need to return your item - we feel this is fair for all parties, and enough time for you to decide if your order will work for you. It also protects us from any of those unscrupulous people. This is also why we can only offer an exchange for an equal or higher valued item (sorry, we are unable to issue refunds**). We are in the business of helping serious people who need a security item for a serious situation.
We try to make our return process as easy as possible for you, so all we ask is that you 1) make sure the item(s) you ordered are not used and returned in their original brand new condition, and 2) either send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (910) 878-5722 to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and return instructions. We can only accept a return if it has been authorized by a TBO-TECH representative. If we receive a package that is an item for return and it does not have an RMA Number associated with it, it subject to be refused and sent back to you. So, to avoid that hassle, please make sure you contact us for an RMA Number and return instructions.
If in the unlikely event the item(s) you purchase were received damaged in shipment or has a manufacturer's defect, we of course will accept a return and get the item exchanged immediately (see our 90 Day Warranty information below). We ask that you still contact us for an RMA Number and return instructions. In this case, you will not be charged any shipping costs to return the item to us or shipping costs to ship it back to you, however, we do need to process your return in the same manner, so it is important that you do contact us for the return instructions.
**The 3 day guarantee is only valid for receipt of purchase Monday through Friday. Should you receive your order on a Friday, you will need to contact us no later than Monday for a request to return your purchase. Our office is closed Saturday, Sundays and some holidays. However, contacting us by phone and leaving a voicemail regarding your request, or sending an email to email@example.com during non-business hours will still validate your request for a return. Voicemails and emails are time and date stamped, so we will be able to confirm you made your request during the alotted time. If you request an exchange for an item of higher value, we will collect your payment information prior to shipping that item and charge you for the difference in cost plus appropriate shipping costs.
**Special exceptions for issuing refunds may be made on a case-by-case basis determined by TBOTECH and can only be issued if authorized by a TBOTECH representative. In these cases, any refunds will be subject to a 25% restocking fee (non-negotiable) and deductions for shipping costs to get the order to the customer.
90 DAY WARRANTY
In addition to our satisfaction guaranteed promise, we offer a 90 DAY warranty on all of our security products (unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer) to be free of defects in workmanship and material beginning from the date of sale to you. Please follow the above return instructions if you need to return your item(s) under warranty. Please note, shipping costs to return an item being returned under warranty are not covered, however, we do not charge shipping to you when we ship the item(s) back to you.
